Project Overview:

This home was a complete remodel, with the master bath being a large focus. Beyond the obviously dated materials, it also had some remodel work done that left odd shaped closets, poor use of space and less than ideal vanity area. In addition to solving the floor plan issues, the client was interested in a complete departure from the dark and heavy current materials and desired a lighter, brighter more transitional approach to design.

By thinking creatively about the layout, we were able to relocate the commode, rethink closet spaces and move access points to offer a larger shower and more functional counter areas. With the floor plan challenges fixed, we turned our attention to materials, lighting and decor. To highlight a few: Gorgeous marble floors and surrounds with an eye catching decorative tile that is highlighted in the shower and offers the glistening backdrop to the now freestanding bath tub and crystal chandelier. Luxe Quartzite countertops offer ample surface area with little need for further decor. Brass fixtures and hardware bring shine and rhythm to the space while a subtle blush, and very plush, vanity stool along with sophisticated florals add just enough color in an otherwise neutral color palette.
